5 Things We Learned From Total Bellas
4. John Cena runs a tight ship
If you are ever invited to John Cena’s house for dinner, Total Bellas has taught us that you should a) wear appropriate formal evening wear, and b) wear shoes. This wasn't immediately obvious to the Danielsons (a.k.a. Brie and Daniel Bryan) in Episode 1.
If you ever wondered what would happen if John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and John Laurinaitis got together for an after-dinner cigar (and why would you?), Total Bellas also gives you some insight into that. Daniel Bryan looks about as uncomfortable in that situation as anyone might be.
It is also revealed that Cena made Nikki Bella sign a very lengthy and detailed contract before she moved into his house. For a man in Cena’s position this is actually an eminently sensible course of action, but it’s clear that living with John Cena isn’t exactly a cake walk.
Even though the John Cena character is obviously exaggerated for the purposes of reality TV, it’s interesting to see that the hard-working and disciplined character we see in the ring really does reflect the man in real life. He's not playing around with the "hustle, loyalty, respect" schtick, and he'll thank you to keep your damn shoes on if you're eating fruity pebbles at the Cena residence.
