5 Times Foul-Mouthed Announcers Dropped The F-Bomb
1. Bobby Heenan
It spoke to the power of Brian Pillman's amazing 'Loose Cannon' creation that the ordinarily unflappable Bobby Heenan was moved enough to drop perhaps the most famous four-letter clanger in wrestling history midway through Clash of the Champions 32.
Pillman had barely locked up with a bemused Eddie Guerrero when he yet again diverted from the planned bout to cause a stir, as was his wont at the time. Having already needled lead announcer Tony Schiavone, the former 'Flyin Brian' returned to the scene of his minor crime to commit a much greater one. Ripping at the red jacket of 'The Brain', Pillman completely caught the iconic ex-manager off guard. Heenan had been sensitive about anybody going near his delicate neck after years of hard bumping, and Pillman's proximity to the area resulted in an almighty "What the f*ck are you doing?!" making it on the air.
Heenan was shocked enough to consider bailing to the back before retaining his composure and his seat next to Schiavone. On the surface it was unnecessarily unpleasant from Brian, but the sense of chaos was by design even if targeting a weak spot was not.
