5 Times PWG's Battle Of Los Angeles Predicted Future Main Eventers
4. Zack Sabre Jr. (2015)
The lanky submission specialist has already been the standard bearer for indie wrestling across multiple promotions, and he's quickly gaining notoriety in New Japan, especially after his performances in the G1 Special in USA and the G1 Climax tournament.
But PWG was ahead of the curve, crowning him the winner of BOLA in 2015 and booking him in dream matches against the likes of Dick Togo, Kyle O'Reilly, and others on his way to World Title glory in the promotion. He later added the British Heavyweight Championship and the Evolve Championship to his decorated waist around the same time.
Not signing with WWE kept him out of the finals of the Cruiserweight Classic, but with a G1 victory over Hiroshi Tanahashi, Sabre will no doubt be main eventing in New Japan sooner rather than later.
