5 Times PWG's Battle Of Los Angeles Predicted Future Main Eventers
3. Ricochet (2014)
One of the greatest super juniors on the planet today, Ricochet has conquered Lucha Underground as Prince Puma, wowed the crowd at PWG, and made a name for himself in New Japan in controversial fashion by taking to the air against fellow flippy fella Will Ospreay.
Although he's nowhere near the main event scene in WWE as of yet, there's no doubt he's on their radar and has been for some time. He could easily carve out a Neville-shaped title reign in NXT or the Cruiserweight division.
He's already main evented Ultima Lucha and won New Japan's Best of the Super Juniors tournament, and although he didn't win the Battle of Los Angeles until 2014, he had been a mainstay of PWG since 2010. Although never a title holder in the promotion, he was a star from day one, and delivered heartstopping moments in singles, tag team, and six-man action.
Having added some impressive power moves to his aerial game, Ricochet is a hotter prospect than ever, and no doubt, a future main eventer for a major promotion.
