If was a busy night at ROH Final Battle 2022 last night, as five Ring of Honor championships changed hands.

In the second match of the night, Athena bested Mercedes Martinez to become the new ROH Women's Champion. That in itself was soon followed by the Embassy's Brian Cage, Kaun and Toa Liona defeating Dalton Castle and the Boys to become the ROH Six-Man Champions, which was then immediately followed by Wheeler Yuta toppling Daniel Garcia to regain the ROH Pure Championship.

The Briscoes and FTR put on the match of the night - and yet another Match of the Year candidate - in their double dog collar affair, with Dem Boys this time emerging victorious to embark on their 13th reign as the ROH Tag Team Champions.

In the main event of Final Battle, Claudio Castagnoli's extensive big swing forced Chris Jericho to submit in their bout for the ROH World Title. Of course, this marks the Swiss Superman's second reign with Ring of Honor's biggest prize.

Elsewhere at this latest ROH PPV, Blake Christian and A.R. Fox beat La Faccion Ingobernable's Rush and Dralistico in Final Battle's opening contest, Swerve in Our Glory got the W over Shane Taylor and JD Griffey, and Samoa Joe retained the ROH TV Title against Juice Robinson.
