5 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dark (Mar 24)

3. Please Come Back

Of all the first-timers to appear on last night's Dark, Suge D shone the brightest. AEW should look into bringing him back at some point. He's a charismatic performer with boatloads of experience after a long indie run and it's nice seeing him getting looks from a major American promotion, so here's hoping we see more of him.

Suge was granted plenty of offense against Kip Sabian and seized control as 'Superbad' took disrespectfully long in kissing Penelope Ford at the beginning. Looking better than any other moonlighter on the roster, Suge finished this sequence by tapping Sabian on the *ss, and showed plenty of fight through Ford's constant interferences. He was there to take the L, however, and did so when Kip tapped him out.

A predictable outcome elevated by the former Sugar Dunkerton's showing, this warms Sabian up for Colt Cabana nicely.
