Ready for some good news?

After churning out some of the most bargain bin, skippable pro wrestling shows of 2022, Tony Khan is off to a hot start with Rampage in 2023. Sure, the program could still use a little more star power overall and not everything is perfect, but it's hard to argue with three hot matches across one hour.

The fact there's only one 'Down' from Friday's show, which was a double header of AEW content and fed right into Battle Of The Belts V, is nice to report. Article regulars will see it coming from a mile off too, but they may be shocked to find out that this week's designated squash match tiptoed into the 'Ups' section.

Two cracking tag matches, some much-needed spotlight for an emerging heel, build towards Wednesday's edition of Dynamite - what more could someone ask from 60 minutes of wrestling telly? The main event (for the Rampage portion, at least) went down incredibly well with the live crowd in Portland too.

Here's all the good and a starter course of bad from All Elite's second-string weekly.
