Nah, this writer will never (eeeeeeeeever!) stop bitching about those picture-in-picture ad breaks until Tony Khan gets his finger out and has a word with the network about how they place these things. Excalibur had already started throwing to commercials when Britt Baker went for a pinfall on one of The Renegade Twins.

That just shouldn't be happening, because it forced the masked announcer to whizz through his 'we're going to break, folks' line like the show had 16 seconds to go and he had to hype Dynamite's match card. Yes, he's really good at that sort of stuff, but it's unnecessary to expect he should do it mid-show too.

Not a huge problem, maybe, but these ad side-by-sides always seem to happen at the worst times during matches. How long before a bout ends during one of them, or AEW runs a silent promo in a smaller box on the right hand portion of your screen?

Just stop it.
