5 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Royal Rumble 2022

8. Shane McMahon?

To every fan who cheers when Shane McMahon’s music hits: YOU are the problem.

WWE must hear the pop when Shane-O-Mac’s entrance theme hits and decides that fans love him, so they keep booking him in ridiculous spots like they did Saturday night. McMahon entered the Royal Rumble at #28, shrugged off two Kevin Owens superkicks and managed to toss KO, then went toe-to-toe with Drew McIntyre before he finally was eliminated later by Brock Lesnar.

Just. Go. Away. Seriously. No one wants to see the boss’ 52-year-old son beat up wrestlers who are busting their butts every week and are supposed to be the guys carrying the company the other 364 days of the year.
