5 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW Collision (Jan 13 - Results & Review)

2. Hook Does Hook Things

AEW Collision Hook Kevin Matthews
AEW

Hook arrived in Norfolk, Virginia. Hook beat Kevin Matthews in one minute with the Red Rum. Hook left Norfolk, Virginia.

Having been in more lengthy matches in the past several months - such as against Wheeler Yuta or Rocky Romero - this was very much back to the same old, same old when it comes to the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil.

Of course, Hook has himself a shot at Samoa Joe's AEW World Title on Wednesday, and so this short showing of utter dominance was fine in getting the second-generation talent a quick TV win. Did this match really need to take place? Possibly not. It wasn't anything special, but it didn't need to be. Likewise, it wasn't offensive enough to warrant a spot on the Downs side of this article.
