5 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Jan 19 - Results & Review)

How the hell can Jeff Hardy still take these bumps on AEW TV in 2024?!

Who knows what the future holds for Darby Allin once Sting retires at Revolution in March? One thing's certain: Tony Khan can rely on the daredevil to work spirited car crash-style brawls, and he knows Darby will always be happy to put his body on the line. The fact the same still goes for Jeff Hardy in the year 2024 is wild.

As the summary line asks, how the heck can Jeff still take this punishment?!

This week's episode of Rampage was a step up from the last one in Daily's Place. Bigger names like Chris Jericho and Hardy both had their working boots on, and there was a noticeable improvement for one of the freshest names in AEW's women's division too. Let's just say Queen Aminata has found her style of match.

'Downs' came in the form of silly storytelling that's making one apparently-sympathetic babyface look like a total fool, and another weak on-stage brawl that would've had Shane McMahon punching the air. The 'Boy Wonder' would probably miss, so he'd be proud of what happened here.

Let's dig in and see what's what on All Elite's 'C' tier show.
