5 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 15)

Ups...

5. Bobby Fish Buys In

Bobby Fish never got the chance to show what he could do as a singles in WWE. Sure, he had a good spot as part of The Undisputed Era on NXT, but he was very much a bit-part player there to complement Adam Cole. Knowing that, it was always gonna be cool to see how Bobby fared in AEW.

He's off to a great start.

Fish is such a good hand. Often, that's meant as a backhanded compliment (the wrestling equivalent of being asked how skilled somebody is at their job and hearing, 'He's a really nice guy' back). Not here; Bobby is one of the most giving wrestlers out there, and he did a neat job working with Lee Moriarty on the 'Buy In'.

Everyone knows Fish vs. Danielson will rule on Dynamite, and this was a solid tune up for that. Let's just say that Bobby had a more straightforward, less-physically-punishing night than Bryan, but more on that later! For now, just know that Fish vs. Moriarty was a tidy little TV match.
