4. Great American Thatch

There were a lot of names bandied about when Timothy Thatcher signed for NXT, but Oney Lorcan wasn't really one of them. Which was incredibly dumb of us all, wasn't it?

The two have a history stretching back to well before they arrived under WWE's banner, and they poured a huge chunk of that history and that chemistry into this outside shout for the evening's best bout. For all the brand prides itself on the incredible quality of its in-ring work, we so rarely get an out-and-out slapper like this. Both men flat out abuuuuused one another.

Thatcher transitioning from a fishhook into a Fujiwara Armbar was about as perfect a visual ending of this match as you could have hoped for. It was disgusting, and it was painful, and if they let him carry on with this style of showcase match we're in for a year that'll loosen your own teeth.
