5 Ups & 2 Downs From UFC 248

4. Bloodbath

Every single fight involving Alex Oliveira should have some sort of warning due to the strong possibility of someone bleeding profusely. It doesn't matter if it's his or his opponent's blood, everyone is leaving the Octagon bloody at the end night.

While his match-up against Max Griffin, would've been considered a barnburner even without the gore, the extra red tint certainly made the fight seem just a little more brutal. Although it wasn't the largest cut you'll see inside the UFC, it didn't mean that Oliveira and Griffin weren't absolutely coated in it by the end of the match.

It was a fantastic brawl between two exciting welterweights who're known for putting it all on the line. Was the win impressive or decisive enough to better Alex Oliveira's UFC ranking? Probably not. However, it does prove that whenever he's got a fight coming up, it's going to get a prime spot on whatever card he's on, because he truly has kill-or-be-killed attitude when competing.
