5 Ups & 3 Downs For AEW Collision (Oct 14 - Results & Review)

4. Continuing Momentum For Kyle Fletcher

AEW has a painful habit of having somebody impress on TV one week, then completely forget about them the next. Following his fantastic match against Bryan Danielson last week, thankfully Kyle Fletcher was once again featured on Collision.

It wasn't much, but it didn't need to be as Fletcher put the Iron Savages' Boulder away in less than three minutes via a dragon sleeper.

Sure, the Aussie Open man lost to Danielson a week ago, but he put on such a fine display that he deserved an opportunity to continue to be utilised as a singles act while his partner Mark Davis recovers from a broken wrist. By getting a dominant win here, that nicely keep Fletcher ticking along and should hopefully be an indicator that the 24-year-old won't be left on the sidelines just because Davis is out of action.

Likewise, Fletcher's later backstage promo continued this momentum, and the Australian calling out Kenny Omega should lead to an absolute belter of match on Dynamite this coming Wednesday.
