5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Jun 9)

4. Jurassic Express Vs. Peter Avalon & Brandon Cutler

A good bit of business for two reasons:-

1. It continued the Cutler/Avalon storyline, with AEW's two lowest-ranked wrestlers once again teaming in the hope of finding greater prosperity together than they did apart. They lost, of course, and will eventually go one-on-one to determine the true worst wrestler in the promotion. It's a fun little story that absolutely belongs on Dark and not the main show.

2. Luchasaurus, who looked great here, working with extra gusto as he fired up throughout.

It followed a simple layout. Luchasaurus enjoyed early shine before Marko Stunt came in to play face-in-peril for Cutler and Avalon's heat segment. Double-team moves evened the playing field, with an unstoppable Luchasaurus babyface comeback sealing the deal, as he pinned Avalon with his diminutive partner sat on his back.
