5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (11 November - Results & Review)

Ups…

5. A Decent Set-Up

WWE Raw Seth Rollins Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed’s run these past few months has survived on chaos: security guards being chucked about, car roofs destroyed, announce desks exploded, and Tsunamis galore.

The problem is that there are only so many ways to manufacture chaos, and eventually you run out of unique ways to sell disarray to the fans. Monday night, WWE kept things simple with Reed and Seth Rollins, with Bronson calling out Rollins, and the Visionary charging the ring for a pull-apart brawl that saw them fight on the floor and in the ring, constantly battling security along the way. Reed hit a suicide dive onto security and the brawl continued until WWE officials broke it up finally.

There wasn’t much more to this week’s battle, other than it set the stage for Rollins to demand – and receive – a final match between him and Reed on Raw next week. That’s the big takeaway here: the two gave one last sampling of rage and then booked the final match between them. It should be fine, and there’s always the possibility a stipulation gets added before next Monday.

Not every segment has to be a home run. This served its purpose and was fairly economical, all things considered.
