Drew McIntyre has been all business since returning recently, and that business has been hurting everyone who stood with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series.

The Scottish Warrior dished out plenty of hurt to Sami Zayn Saturday night in a red-hot opening match that saw McIntyre throw Sami around and continually batter his opponent. Zayn proved that he’s still a near-perfect babyface, garnering immense sympathy throughout and timing his comebacks wonderfully, drawing fans into the match even more.

McIntyre played a nice little cat-and-mouse at the end, bailing after Sami scored a two count off a Blue Thunder Bomb, drawing an overeager Zayn outside. Drew got back inside, turned around and Claymored Sami’s head off for the pin. Simple and effective.

Of all the matches on the card, this one felt like it could have been more angle than match, but they subverted that with a straightforward, competitive contest.
