5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Apr 24)

1. That Sasha Banks & Bayley Continuation

This was the biggest storyline takeaway from SmackDown.

WWE achieved a hell of a lot in just five-six minutes here. Lacey Evans qualified for the women's Money In The Bank match, Bayley saved Sasha Banks from defeat by putting her foot over the rope, the SmackDown Women's Champ then inadvertently cost her pal the win, and Tamina got to look dominant before challenging for the title.

It was good stuff all round. Keeping Banks out of MITB is wise too, because she didn't need to be involved in that when she's blatantly WWE's pick to feud with Bayley over the summer. Everything clicked here - Lacey picked up a win, Tamina looked strong and Sasha can be miffed at her BFF 'Role Model' for ultimately costing her.

How did one of 2018's most lifeless storylines turn into one of 2020's best? This has the chance to be quite the feud between Banks and Bayley if WWE keep pushing things along this way.
