5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 5)

4. Another Good Tag Match

SmackDown was a fine show if you're into doubles action.

The Street Profits vs. Imperium was similarly-well worked. It included a nice jump start moment from Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci that gave the bout immediate energy; then, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins eased their way back into things before taking the crowd-popping win via Montez' stunning frog splash.

It's hard to argue with this kind of quality. However, and this is the most minor of minor gripes, it'd be nice to see Imperium pick up a few more wins here or there without GUNTHER in the house. Kaiser and Vinci are a damn good duo, and they'd have a scorcher opposite Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens if creative fancied it.

Bonus points go to The Profits for giving Imperium enough that they didn't come across as a 'Z list' tag, and to Vinci for some neat work on the ropes. That was borderline Rey Fenix-esque, which is a big compliment to the guy.
