5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 27 - Results & Review)

Downs...

3. Decent, But There’s A Downside…

Dragon Lee Cedric Alexander

Dragon Lee won't get over if WWE fails to book him consistently as one thing or another.

Here's an explanation: Lee beat Austin Theory in a fine match earlier this month, then found himself relegated to a quasi-enhancement role alongside Cameron Grimes in tag action after that. On Friday, he returned to solo work by beating Cedric Alexander in another decent singles outing.

Can we have some stability, please?! It isn't much to ask for, especially when showcasing a brand new character in front of fans who might never have seen him before. Honestly, this guy really wanted to give the match an 'Up', but it's impossible to do so when WWE's handling of Dragon has been so erratic.

Fingers crossed things calm down and creative realises they should focus on building Lee up as a standalone star worth paying attention to. If the Grimes tag experiment was just a blip, fine, but it's hard to trust the process sometimes when it's...all over the place.
