5 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's Impact Wrestling (Jun 14)

6. A Decent Match

The match between Jordynne Grace and Madison Rayne wasn't anything too special, but it was a decent enough match that impressed enough to be given an Up here. Some nice technical-style wrestling in the early stages then all of a sudden, Rayne plants Grace with a jumping cutter on the mats outside the ring.

Back inside the ring, the action was dominated by Jordynne for the most part but when it came down to it, Madison was able to escape a Grace Driver attempt and land a vicious-looking Cross Rhodes to earn a victory for herself. It likely didn't help Grace by having her former friend Kiera Hogan sitting in on commentary throughout the contest, complete with a new hair colour.

No-one's really harmed from this. Either woman could've done with the victory here, having both suffered defeats at the hands of Taya Valkyrie in recent times, and needed a win in the bag in order to get back on their feet. Considering the nature of Jordynne's loss (Kiera provided a slight distraction from the commentary desk), it appears as if those two will be facing off once again following on from last week's showdown.
