5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (30 Dec - Results & Review)

UPS…

5. Exorcising The Demons

Otis Chad Gable
WWE

The truth is that the American Made/Alpha Academy feud should have ended months ago, serving as the launching pad for Chad Gable’s new heel stable.

Instead, the hope at this late stage in 2024 is that Monday’s match between Gable and Otis served as a soft reboot for American Made, finally putting the rivalry between the jocks and the comedy troupe to rest and allowing the Star-Spangled group to begin 2025 with a clean slate.

Gable continuously attacked his larger opponent’s leg, targeting it with a Dragon Screw and locking in an anklelock a few times to soften up the limb. Naturally, Otis made the comeback and overcame interference from the Creed Brothers a few times before finally succumbing to an anklelock and tapping out.

If this truly marks the end of this and a fresh start for American Made, then this “up” is warranted. But if the feud must continue, then this was wishful thinking, and it’s just back to wasted potential.
