5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (8 July - Results & Review)

3. The Rivalry That Won’t Die

Maybe there’s something more here to all of this, maybe it’s leading to a big development, but the Final Testament’s feud with the New Day just isn’t cutting it. Karrion Kross has gone from trying to recruit Xavier Woods to join the group, to trying to expose that New Day is finished as an act. With Kofi Kingston on the shelf for a few weeks, Kross announced that the old guard would be making way for the new guard.

That seems to indicate we’ll be “treated” to Woods battling AOP alone, either in singles, handicap or tag (with a different partner) action. Of course, that belies the fact that Xavier already defeated Kross just last week.

Maybe there’s something more here, but unless there’s a big return or something compelling, it’s just a space and time-filler on Raw that is utterly skippable.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
