Regular readers of this article might be surprised by this one, but thank God for Bayley.

The SmackDown Women's Champ almost saved that lifeless 'A Moment Of Bliss' interview segment with one tiny morsel of information. As the heel champion ran down the chances of Carmella ever beating her for the title, she added that Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross could cram it too because she'd already beaten them in a handicap match.

Everyone, including this guy, had forgotten about that match at Extreme Rules 2019. There, live on pay-per-view no less, Bayley offed Bliss and Cross in a two-on-one effort to retain her belt. That happened on 14 July last year. Look it up if you don't believe it.

This was a rare example of someone in WWE remembering matches older than a few weeks and using them to cut down opponents in promos. It added credibility to Bayley's claim that she's the best Women's Champion the brand has ever seen, and gave Bliss and Cross a reason to be out there in the first place.
