5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 26)

2. Scram, Reginald!

Someone backstage clearly liked what Reginald was doing by Carmella's side a few months ago. That's surely the only reason why Reg has been pushed to the forefront of that act and started flirting with Sasha Banks. Scripting a little fail safe feud for Sasha (with 'Mella) in the background isn't a bad thing, but there's just one problem.

Reginald didn't need to be out there for Bianca Belair's WrestleMania challenge.

This is bound to be a sleeper hit match on one of those 'Mania cards, and everyone knows it. Rather than going hard on the threat Belair poses though, WWE are writing both she and Banks to act like they're still buddies when pointing towards that big neon WrestleMania sign. No, no, no, no, NO!

WWE stars shouldn't act like they're marking out over that event. It's huge for someone's career, we get it. Can anyone imagine Roman Reigns doing this though? It wouldn't happen. SmackDown's writers dropped the ball by teaming Sasha and Bianca together in the first place, and that goodwill seems destined to keep undermining this feud.
