5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 30)

3. P*ssing About Isn’t Alpha

Meanwhile, one of the best tags in the entire company is arse-farting about in mini-feuds when they absolutely shouldn't be. Chad Gable and Otis have gone from wrestling Cesaro (that went nowhere) to going after the 24/7 Title.

Y'know, rather than the tag titles.

Alpha Academy deserves so much more than this horsesh*t. Sure, the short acrobatic display Gable and Reggie put on was fine for what it was, but it's a mere time-sink for the Alphas and doesn't have a future. So, naturally, WWE will book Reg vs. Otis next week, and probs put an unwanted title switch in there too.

The tag ranks looked like they were heating up before The Street Profits were benched. Since then, the fact that SmackDown doesn't have even one more face team for Otis and Gable to feud with has been exposed, and that's unacceptable.
