5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 10)

4. Hard-Hitting Quality Guaranteed

Ignore the double DQ finish, because Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus is well-worth seeing regardless. These lads offer guaranteed quality whenever they're working with one another, and this was just the latest chapter in their non-stop crusade to beat the living sh*te out of one another on telly.

It was fab.

Twitter is already moaning about the lack of a clean finish, but that's silly. This is episodic television, and draws happen in real-life sports sometimes too. Nobody gets all p*ssy about Man City drawing 1-1 with Liverpool; blow the whistle again, ref. Five more minutes! It doesn't happen.

Put it this way: Clean wins are cool and all, but Sheamus and Drew will get a tasty rematch out of this next week, and that's hardly a bad thing. One of them will qualify for Money In The Bank (McIntyre, most likely), so fans will get their end result. Bell-to-bell, this was as robust a match as you'll see all week.

It should be celebrated, not cut down.
