It wouldn't have killed WWE to give Otis a clean win here.

He's 'Mr. Money In The Bank' and the guy getting pushed right now, not 'King' Corbin, so it's unclear why creative felt the need to protect their royal heel when he's not exactly fighting for anything at the moment. Corbin is also teflon even in defeat, which only makes things worse.

The disqualification finish felt like a cheap way out, and it was unnecessary when these guys aren't actually locked into a full-time feud against one another. If Otis can't beat secondary villains like Corbin, then what chance does he have when he gets to the main event level? That was, sadly, the message sent in this match.

Otis got the last laugh on Corbin anyway. He should've won clean, posed with Mandy Rose and then sent the 'King' packing if he even dared to interrupt some smoochy time between the most unlikely of lovers. That scenario just makes sense.
