5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 26)

3. He Won, But…

LA Knight The Street Profits

At least LA Knight got his win over Rick Boogs.

That's really the only positive to take from any of this, 'cause LA going after The Street Profits certainly doesn't make much sense. Why are Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins wasting time feuding with a singles star instead of trying to become tag champs? Honestly, this story requires context fast.

It reeks of mini-feud tripe that's an afterthought in company creative meetings. Then, WWE seems shocked when stuff like it doesn't hit on TV. Knight and The Profits deserve way better than...whatever this is. God only knows how anyone gets out of this without LA getting another temp partner to battle Ford and Dawkins.

The dude has been treading water since that Bray Wyatt situation fizzled out. He can kick his legs as hard as he wants, but the writers have to meet him halfway. Unfortunately, at least for now, they definitely aren't doing that.
