5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 26)

2. That Backstage Bloodline Tension

Roman Reigns, The Usos and pals have been on top form during backstage promos for what feels like decades at this point. Somehow, despite being one of SmackDown's main hooks since 2020, Roman's simmering tension-filled inserts never get tedious.

That's probably because he, and everyone else tied to this Bloodline story, has become so f*cking good at playing his/their character/characters. Here, Roman tried to intimidate Jimmy and impose his will on yet another defiant cousin. It didn't really work, which p*ssed him off.

The way Reigns banned The Usos from NOC but said they'd report for duty like good little soldiers for his 1000 day celebration next week was just tremendous. It also cannot be accidental that WWE framed the shot so that Solo Sikoa watched his brother take a telling from Reigns.

Solo didn't exactly look like he agreed with what was happening.
