2. Roman Sets Up Feud, Emboldens Jey

Roman Reigns’ latest vacation lasted nowhere near as long as some of his past sojourns, and he made the most of his brief return Monday night.

The Tribal Chief showed up to seek revenge on the Vision – particularly Bronson Reed – for taking him out of action a few weeks ago, and to help his cousins the Usos pick up the win in their Tornado Tag. But Roman’s return accomplished more than simply helping Jimmy and Jey get the win.

Reigns seemingly delighted in waffling Bron Breakker with a chair after the match, which one would assume will set up a match between the two. That could be a really good battle of the spears, and if done right, it could help push Breakker up the ladder a couple of rungs.

But Roman wasn’t done making an impact. He congratulated his cousins for the win, then took a moment to give Jey a pep talk, essentially endorsing his self-centered behavior from the past several weeks. Reigns told Jey to forget everyone else and just smash everyone. In the background, Jimmy just shook his head because his brother is only going to continue down this path of behaving more like Bloodline Roman in his obsessive quest to regain the World Heavyweight Championship.

There still is the possibility that Jey pulls back in time, but every week that goes by and he continues to slide further down that path, the more likely it becomes that Jey goes full Roman.
