5 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dynamite (30 August - Review)

Ups...

5. Toni Storm Is The Absolute Best

Toni Storm cut a priceless backstage promo in which she descended further into madness.

She can't trust her partners in the Outcasts. She can't even trust her shoes, which she threw in Renee Paquette's direction after walking "off set". In fact, as she said herself, everything at Wembley went t*ts up!

Fantastic, no notes.

This is one of the most exciting and rewarding things to watch unfold as a wrestling fan. Storm is becoming the best version of herself and everybody's new favourite wrestler at the same time. It's not unlike Britt Baker's February 2020, this rise. The irony of her old Hollywood fading glamour gimmick is that she's actually about to explode in popularity.

Has a wrestler ever improved in one aspect of their game as much as Storm has improved with promos?

This was absolutely hilarious. Toni Storm is scoring a rocket into the postage stamp from the halfway line with this new act: she could not be hitting it any sweeter.
