5 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Jan 14)
Ups...
5. Into The Woods
Guest panellist Xavier Woods, predictably, was a constant delight from the second he opened his mouth.
Plugging the sh*t out of his...everything during his introduction, he then went on to hype news of his return before bantering it off as still being ages away.
It'd be unfair to credit Woods with the entire success of The New Day, but his ingenuity and enthusiasm helped propel it from a Sports Entertainment dead rubber to pro wrestling phenomenon, and this particular environment was a reason of precisely how and why he made it so. The longer he's out, the more he should be placed here - he's a gift to the entire organisation.
