More on The Miz later because he certainly got people talking in the aftermath of this particular appearance, but this exact interview was explicitly promoted as trying to unpack what had happened to him since he experienced the worst of The Fiend on SmackDown.

This sort of convivial atmosphere was about as far away from that as possible. The content wasn't without merit either - Miz spoke on still wanting to be the face of the company and how it drives him to succeed all these years later - but it wasn't as advertised and didn't really serve the delicately-poised Fiend gimmick all that well.
