5 Ups & 5 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Apr 5)

2. A Cowardly Attack

The main event of Rebellion was barely mentioned on this week’s Impact, with the only focus put on it coming when Brian Cage saved Jordynne Grace from a cowardly attack at the hands of Johnny Impact and Taya Valkyrie. This just wasn’t that interesting at all.

Jordynne Grace has been positioned as an unstoppable force in Impact ever since she arrived really, so to have her saved from an attack sort of diminishes her status a bit. Granted, it was two on one but that’s hardly the point. A mixed tag team match has since been announced for this coming Friday's episode of Impact, so at least there's something to this.

Cage and Impact’s match has been built well enough up until this point that something like this likely won’t harm it too much. We just need to hope that they’ll do a bit more in the weeks that follow up until 28 April.
