5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Money In The Bank 2025 (Results & Review)
2. Grinding To A Halt
On one hand, a confrontation between Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed and Jacob Fatu & JC Mateo is a pretty cool visual. But when it comes in the middle of a Money in the Bank ladder match and none of them are involved in the actual match… then things must have taken quite a left turn.
Seth Rollins called for reinforcements during the men’s MITB match, and his charges came out to wreak havoc on everyone, which made a fair amount of sense. Then Fatu and Mateo made their way out for a standoff and brawl with Reed and Breakker, while everyone sold on the floor.
Then Jacob helped Solo Sikoa set up a ladder so he could climb and retrieve the briefcase, only to stop Solo himself and put the Street Champ down. All the while, everyone sold on the floor like they were dead for what felt like a solid five minutes. The entire flow of the match dissipated so we could have a heel faction West Side Story standoff and a breakup between Sikoa and Fatu.
It probably didn’t help that the men’s MITB match included a Fireball-branded ladder and had the more offensive slow climbs of the two ladder matches. Throwing a mid-match brawl break into the mix didn’t help matters.
