5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 5 - Results & Review)

4. Main Event’s Surprising Lack Of Cohesion

Jimmy Jey Uso Solo Sikoa

Jey Uso vs. Solo Sikoa should've been a banger.

It never really got going before the finish though. In fact, it was shocking how little chemistry the brothers had out there. Plus, people in the stands knew Jimmy Uso was poking his nose in for the DQ at some point, so the bout turned into six minutes of sitting around waiting for that ending to happen.

Hopefully, Jey and Solo get the chance to show they're capable of more in the future. They're the kind of combo WWE will come back to with a title on the line in years to come, so fingers crossed those matches turn out better than this one did. Got to break out that functional word again!

Yes, Jey and Solo had a job to do here. They scrapped, Jimmy interfered, and then there was a big babyface promo ending for SmackDown heading into WrestleMania. That's fine, but one can't shake the feeling that this battle of brothers could've been more exciting bell-to-bell.
