5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 23)

So, he is invisible.

Seriously, where the fudge was John Cena right at the end of SmackDown? Roman Reigns blew off his challenge with some banter about boring sex (?!), then Finn Bálor romped out to jump the queue and put his name in the frame for Roman's Universal Title instead.

Anyone staring towards the entrance expecting a second Cena showing of the night left disappointed. His music never played - 'Big Match John' sat on his ass backstage as Finn scooped his opportunity. Now, WWE are clearly saving another face-to-face between Cena and Reigns for later, but this felt so strange.

Realistically, Cena wouldn't sit backstage and watch Bálor jump ahead. Plus, he'd be fuming at the way Reigns passively-aggressively poured cold water on the SummerSlam showdown. Sorry, but yours truly wasn't a fan of this booking.
