5 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dark (May 26)

3. Faboo Andre and Tony Donati vs. Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian

Your interest in this bout likely depends on your enjoyment of Jimmy Havoc and the borderline banal heel act favoured by Kip Sabian. While not as gruelling as last week's 10-minuter, this still felt overlong and when you're spending this much time with a squash match, those who aren't invested need a little more than what the growing tandem currently offers.

Andre and Donati were completely outgunned here. Andre was dominated for the first half, enduring a prolonged abuse session, before Donati came in, got some of his sh*t, then had his ass kicked after the flurry. He ate the dropkick/Michinoku Driver combination to take the L.

Havoc, Sabian, and Ford is a growing faction and they're starting to gel, though this bout (and last week's) highlight the flaws in their presentation. Some lateral thinking wouldn't go amiss here.
