5 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dark (May 26)

4. Kilynn King vs. Penelope Ford

There was at least a different dynamic in play here as Kilynn King used her superior size and power to control Penelope Ford earlier on, meaning 'The Superbad Girl' required interference from partner Kip Sabian to get in the match. It was all her from there. Ford wore King down progressively before unloading bigger bombs, nailing a handspring elbow in the corner before King stumbled blindly into her Cutter, reheating Penelope after her Double Or Nothing loss to Kris Statlander.

With the interference spot unnecessary against a jobber and Ford still showing a few rough edges in control, this was flawed. Penelope remains an interesting prospect with her moveset and charisma, though there's still work to be done, with more Dark squashes surely on the menu.
