With this being the go-home episode of Impact Wrestling before Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view, it meant the majority of people stepped up their game ahead of the big show to provide an enjoyable episode.

The biggest highlight of the evening came right at the end of the show when Tessa Blanchard took the fight to Jake Crist and her Slammiversary opponent Sami Callihan with a baseball bat in hand. It made for one of the most entertaining Impact segments of the year in this writer's opinion, adding more fuel to the fire that is Sami Callihan's crusade against the Knockouts division. Plus, it had Sami randomly throwing a handful of salad at Tessa in the hopes that it would make her drop the baseball bat. Nice try, Sami.

Elsewhere throughout the night, all three members of The Rascalz collided to see which two would go on to Slammiversary for the tag titles match, Kiera Hogan's new attitude allowed her to pick up a victory over former multi-time Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne, the bottom turnbuckle snapped in a match between Rohit Raju and Laredo Kid, and John E. Bravo debuted a new hairstyle, which is apparently a big deal.

Before we get to Slammiversary, let's take a closer look at the last episode beforehand. Let's get to it...
