5 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (22 July - Results & Review)

3. Bloodline Reunion Confirmed

Well, that statement might be a bit premature, but Jey Uso and Sami Zayn reuniting and defeating the current World Tag Team Champions Monday night certainly didn’t happen by accident.

After Sami saved Jey from a Judgment Day beatdown, the two teamed up to beat Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in the main event. Their entrance featured Zayn and Uso doing the handshake they (and Jimmy Uso) did several times when they were all part of the Bloodline. During their match, Sami and Jey nearly picked up the win by hitting the 1D, which hasn’t been seen in nearly a year.

With Sami facing an uphill battle to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker at SummerSlam, there seemed to be an open question about what he does afterward should he lose. A returning Roman Reigns could easily reach out to Jey and Sami – both of whom would be available – and enlist them in a Bloodline versus Bloodline 2.0 feud.

Even absent of all of that, the main event was fire, with Sami and Jey clicking like they never stopped being part of a unit. And a tag title feud between them and Judgment Day would be tremendous fun.
