5 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Dec 10)

5. Well, So Much For That

SmackDown's creative team spent weeks building up Los Lotharios as a (literally) hot young tag who believed their own lady-killing b*llocks but could get the job done when the bell sounded. Then, just like that, they were squashed flat by Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs on this week's show.

Why?! Urgh, it's so infuriating.

Angel and Humberto barely got a lick in before Naka put them away. Remember this when WWE suddenly needs new heel challengers for the next babyface tag-team champs - that'll 100% happen, especially if New Day get those straps again at Day 1. This was an awful, awful decision.

Who knows why this company insists on wrecking acts within a few short minutes. Also, Nakamura has defended his Intercontinental Title exactly once since winning it in August. Yeah, having him stomp out promising duos in the doubles division is the way to go though, eh?
