The post-WrestleMania Raw crowd already has a reputation for being raucous - often to the point of disruptive irritation - but the company were on a hiding for nothing promoting a winner-takes-all world championship main event only to pull the ol' bait and switch.

After hearing even Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins showered with snarky shouts of 'AEW' despite being two blatant fan favourites who have worked their arses to the bare bones for the ungrateful audience, WWE didn't even bother trying on Tuesday night. Instead, they drew straight from the SmackDown For Dummies playbook, announcing a six-man tag for the main event at the top of the show.

Absolutely nobody would be left feeling shortchanged by that by-the-numbers ploy... but they would be disinterested, considering the show then opened with a different six-man tag.
