Downs…

7. A Completely Meaningless Job

Pop quiz: Could you ever see Charlotte Flair doing a random job to a wrestler named Doudrop?

Of course, not. She’s the Queen! She must be protected at all times, at all costs.

Now Asuka on the other hand…

The Empress ate the pin in a tag team rematch, as Doudrop flattened her with a senton and splash after her partner Eva Marie walked out. So that means Doudrop won what was momentarily a handicap match against the decorated Asuka and accomplished Naomi.

To be fair, Doudrop is the lethal Piper Niven, so she’s the real deal. But still, come on. A woman in her third match, ensconced in a confusing angle with Eva Marie, beats Asuka clean as a sheet, and the announcers are more concerned about this three-week-old partnership.
