4. Almost A Stupid Idea

Watching Nikki Cross talk about how she’s not yet a superhero and then having the announcers turn it into an entire bit was just the sort of thing that makes you groan.

You could argue that before she “won” a couple of beat the clock challenges and adopted this new persona, Cross was just hanging out catering, but the old adage of “something is better than nothing” isn’t always true.

Cross the Human Butterfly has now deemed herself “almost a superhero,” or Nikki ASH. And yes, Byron Saxton called her that on multiple occasions. Because why not?

We’re not ready to completely close the door on this dopey angle, but right now, it’s just painful.
