5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 30)

2. Setting Up A Title Feud

Last week, Riddle approached MVP about pitching him some money-making ideas. It was a cute throwaway segment that had potential – if WWE followed up.

On Monday, we saw the follow-up, as MVP approached Riddle after he lost his triple threat match. MVP poked him, and Riddle noted that “losing sucks,” but still pitched a few ideas, which Porter panned. MVP then went further, calling the ideas dumb and saying he was glad Riddle lost before piefacing him.

This set the laid-back Riddle off, as he stood to confront MVP, but Bobby Lashley intervened and put him down with a Hurt Lock, thus setting up a feud presumably for the United States Championship. Simple, easy and effective.

Why can’t WWE book stuff like this all the time?
