5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Survivor Series 2020

3. What The Bloody Hell?

For more than two months, the storyline (if you can call it that) on Raw has been Nia Jax has been tormenting Lana by putting her through the announce desk nine times. So heading into Sunday, the table had to be involved somehow, right? Right?

Of course not.

In fact, the match featured a long series of offense until a car crash spot on the floor, followed by a flurry of eliminations that left Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler squaring off against Bianca Belair. What followed was a nice display of Belair’s athleticism, but then they had all three get eliminated via DQ (Baszler) and a double count-out.

And that left Lana as the sole survivor of the women’s match. Yep, Lana. And she celebrated like she won the main event of WrestleMania, despite doing nearly nothing on the match other than stand on the ring steps.

What’s worse, no table got involved. So more than two months of this ongoing bullying came to a head with a whimper. Oh sure, maybe something will happen on Raw on Monday night involving the table, or a confrontation between the two women, but this just felt like a waste.
