5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Survivor Series 2020

2. A True ‘Team’ Effort

Here’s why all the weeks of dissension and bickering was utterly pointless. After weeks of the men’s Team Raw being unable to get along, they suddenly gelled perfectly at Survivor Series to pull a clean sweep against Team SmackDown.

But why did they suddenly gel? Who knows? It’s not like there were any stakes involved. Aside from Riddle and Keith Lee, no one on the team got along until the bell rang (and even then, they still quibbled). This stacked team teased being ready to implode at any given moment and then ran through five SmackDown wrestlers in epic fashion.

The match itself was fine, with each member of Team Raw scoring an elimination, but knowing that they had been on the verge of disintegrating just six days earlier with nothing changing better then and the PPV makes this nonsensical.
